The main problem with the conventional education system is that, it never had a methodology to assess the skillset but it assesses the marks and grades instead. For the sake of argument we can say, there are frogs with the ability to climb a tree. But this argument is not applicable when it comes to human beings. Your journey to true education starts there. Education is the hunger, the hunger to explore , analyze , reason and conclude. Education is incomplete with your own conclusion.

The existing educational system will not change, classrooms, Colleges all those will continue to run but the mindset of the youth that is what to be changed. Accessibility to the information, that is the key for the next generation to come. Thanks to many free online platforms such as EdX to bring quality education to people across the globe. “Everything at Once” this must be the strategy when it comes to true education. Aptitude is considered to be a key constraint when it comes to education. Can everyone become a painter? The answer would be Yes! Attitude is something what we inherit or born with but it is developed through interest.
The way I see anyone with the interest and curiosity to learn can become anything he/she wants. We were taught to absorb not to adapt. Adapting with incoming knowledge is another important strategy of true education. The “Survival Of Fittest” theory fits really in here. Learning is not the process of grasping something and regurgitating it but it is the process of empowering you to teach yourself anything own your own. Let me tell you an example.
I first saw a computer when I was at the 12th standard. Before that I thought the Monitor was the real computer! Thanks to my Government school! During my college days I started to work at an internet café. From that point I taught myself all the basics of computers. I never had a formal education on computers, but I was able to start my own website when I was 22 which is not a great thing these days, one of my friend gave me hint and I searched searched for months, learnt about it and went for it! But at that time It was a cool thing to have your own website.
This story is not emphasize computers and internet. The same logic can applied any field of education. If you’re committed and curious about to learn something, you can learn it, own your own! You’ll need supporting hands, that could be a friend, colleague or even your boss. Don’t ever miss a chance to learn something. It should always be a “Go” when it comes to true education, there must not be a “No Go”.
Seek, Explore , Adapt and Always be curious to learn something new everytime you gets a chance.
